But then it might not - Large lower Severn Barbel, from my experience, favour a section and won't move far until spawning time arrives or adverse conditions force them. Half the reason I don't Barbel fish much on my local lower Severn is I got bored of the recaptures and no new fish moving in -...
I think its prudent to leave any river capture reporting until 15th March :D
As for pictures - I doctor the background (Open a copy of your picture in Paint if Photoshop isn't available and work with that) I'd never publish an un-doctored photo.
As for the angling press , well I had some...
I ordered some method leads some 4/5 years ago and all was fine. I also had 10kg of boilies a year later. BUT I'd be a little wary now ................ check out the boilie prices !! I'd say the site hasn't been updated for a very long time.
He is still on ebay...

These Zeds are proving to be hard work this season, but I finally got something reasonable for my efforts :)
She refused to stick the dorsal up for a photo though, no matter what I tried :(
If you really want to get up close Steve see if you can borrow a brolly and full size mozzi net, to act as a hide. (I'd let you borrow mine but you're too far away :D) They cannot see you through the mesh, so will stay and fish in front of you from your rods or over hanging branches.
I've...
I just checked my ebay history and I paid £40 delivered. Joker now wants £56
Still, if you buy in welly season expect to pay top prices. I got mine in the spring (no, not as in spring a leak :D)

Your not gunna roll out that photo again are you Steve, it must be getting a bit tatty around the edges by now :D
I'm going tonight to see if I can bag one. Not very confident, recent weeks have been very poor. I, like Neil, am suffering...
I agree. Been using Sensor for quite a few years but found the clear does get 'springy' quite quickly - maybe due to UV exposure ? Going back to brown on the next re-spool ,partly for this reason as I don't recall the same severity of spring, but also because immersed in water the clear ain't...
Probably one of the worst livebaits going. They tangle rigs due to the tendency to swim up all the time. But when times is hard ............:o
I'm going Golden Rudd and a good'un too
From memory John it was only £12 for the sack. It was just the time element in preperation that I'm trying to avoid repeating.
Anyway, everything is progressing well - although the aroma hasn't really got any stronger than a week ago.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to pre-bait so I'm...
I've two bucket loads out in the garden now Neil. That's 10 days so far, and its getting quite 'ripe'. Another week will do it good, then we'll see if it works :D
