Well I've just returned from my weeks zander fishing on the Warwickshire Avon and under the harshest of conditions I managed five zander including this absolute cracker of 9lb 9oz. I also had a few pike to 15lb. would like to thank Graham Elliott and Steve Hodges for help and advice.

It also sounds applicable to what I am focusing on at the moment (or have been) trying to find a monster on an underfished stretch of the Hants Avon.

I rely on the Terry Lampard mix. Third each of mature cheddar, strong blue and frozen pastry mix. Had 2 chub last pm on it in -2 conditions.

Just touching on something that Alex commented on, I always use braid right the way through but one of the things I regularly do is colour my braid with black, brown and green permanent marker pens.
