Staying in a cottage in Ravensworth near Richmond( yorkshire) in August. Are there any stretches I can fish before the river reaches Richmond or are the stretches that might hold barbel and chub all below Richmond? Thanks for any info.

Yea they’re my mates that passed away. Hardly used as he became ill not long after purchase. Sad to sell them and the float rod I just sold but that’s most of his stuff gone now. You can only have so many rods and reels yourself and at least someone will get them out on the bank where they...
