    Best pellets

My last was 2x8 mm Hinders, and before that Sonubait 'O' Spicy Sausage I think, which proves nothing except Barbel are less concerned about these things than we are.

    Best pellets

The best pellet is always the one that last caught.

    Avoiding bream !!

I would happily endure a few barbel amongst many bream on the Teme. I assume we are talking lower Teme? Asking for Barry.🙄

    Drennan Specialist Barbel 1.75lb

Sadly not the one I think. The one he wants is a single top. I also got a couple of the twin tips, pre dates the Bowlers.

    Best pellets

Favourite for me are Dynamite Robin Red 8mm at the minute, Sonubaits O's in any flavour Caught more on standard 14mm halli over the years but they may have been sussed. And those Sonubaits squishy soft pellets caught me loads a few years back, but had to be hemp and halli, nothing else.

    Drennan specialist barbel 1.75lb

I have one unused still from new, but I do use the case. Anyway I am miles away in Glos. They never seemed to be popular for some reason, but lovely aesthetics. Obviously you like the rod so I should really use it, if I can track down those pesky barbel 😃 .

    This will be interesting….

He looked typically useless in holding the whip. You would think the hosts Pippa and Rupert would have known the rules.

    Robin red pellets

    Warwickshire Avon

Yes I thought after I was wrong about the line. The avon is looking very good with good flow and some colour. Had a good look around some old lower haunts yesterday p.m and was encouraged by reports that a couple of barbel caught including a little 'pup, I had a quick dusk session, and also...

    Cows

''Stand your ground'' Seriously that had to be scary, if they were youngsters it might be just that that were curious, or probably you were going to feed them. I know cows with calves can be protective and dangerous, and if you have a dog alongside. However the farmer should be alerted as to...
