    Roach

Hi GE, i had a go on the Pats a couple of days ago. Unfortunately no sizeable Roach but 7 different species, among them a couple of Rudd and some cracking herring sized Dace. Beats sitting behind a motionless tip...:)

Baitrunners, quiver tips and hooking fish?

If i feel a snooze coming on then i revert to touch ledgering. Definately the best wake up call, or should that be wake up pull!??

    Thames pollution.

The local press are reporting raw sewage being accidentally pumped into the Thames from The Little Marlow Treatment works last week. Apparently affecting as far downstream as Maidenhead. Anyone know any more?

I had a spool explode on me on the Thames last season. Luckily i've a few spares. I've heard you can get stainless spools for them, try someone like tackle workshop, they done the last service on mine, reccomended. :)

    Worth a Watch?

Absolute legend when i was carp fishing in the early 8o's. Vaguely remember seeing him do a talk at a CAA show around that time, everyone glued to his every word (those that could still stand!). Anyone remember the spirolite rods, sold by simpsons i think???
