If you look on fb real river Trent Ian Potts recommends the vortex bpt ( banana pineapple and turmeric) range as he says craps don’t touch them as they are not meat or fish based
I use a non fish based boilies on one rod and crabs never bothered me but neither did the barbel and other rod I use...
Yes it is a long walk but gives you options for some good fishing and it was Ian Potts that posted that picture of the landslide
I believe the cliff is only at the end near the weir also
I did ring but got someone who couldn’t understand me and he said email so I did and they said they had stock but would be shipped from their warehouse in Europe and takes 10 days minimum
Think I’ll shop elsewhere
Has anyone used “onefisherman.co.uk”
Onefisherman
They are based in derby
I was looking at certain reels and they are £50 cheaper than anywhere else so seems to good to be true so I wondered if anyone has had any experience or dealings with them
Many thanks
Thanks Peter but I see 6000 are 140yds and 8000 are 240yds capacity and later is 45g heavier so there is no difference apart from that then?
By the way I am living the powermesh rods I bought from you
So I am fishing the Trent with a pair of 2.75 powermesh rods casting 5oz+ leads and want a decent pair of baitrunner reels
I was considering shimano 6000 or 8000 oc reels is there much difference between them ?
Will the 6000 do or should I go for the 8000?
Or is there something else I should...
