Having a little end of season clear out.
chub 4 rod quiver. This item is brand new - never even left the house. It has 4 clips to accept rod sleeves and 4 Velcro rod retaining loops along side to accept rods without. A padded strap then goes over that to keep it all secure. Further down...
Personally, im not that fond of looking at 'doctored' photos of angling captures as it leads me to ask myself where the 'doctoring' ends. I much prefer to see a picture behind a brolly or hedge, rendering the shot somewhat innocuous. I don't think this makes for a interesting backdrop to any...

Does anyone know of any companies that may produce a map of the Severn? I don't know if something like this is commercially available but I would like something of say the middle Severn, depicting towns, perhaps glassed and framed for my tackle room.
I do find it strange that with the vast range of tackle Drennan has produced over the years for the dedicated river angler, he is yet to introduce a feeder with a capacity greater than 2 1/2oz!
Other than the Korum range I think most people will struggle to get a feeder in a variety of sizes...
''Once you KNOW how much a rod/blank is from the Far East compared with an English blank, you start to understand the price difference.
A lot of stuff that gives the impression of coming from a certain country is often based on assumption and here say.
Made in Britain does not necessarily...
2 seasons ago I purchased a pair of fox duo lite horizon specialist rods for £100 each. I think they retail at £129. They have twin tips, 1 3/4 & 2 1/4lb, Fuji dps reel seats, full cork handles and the fox brand slik guides. I have found them to be a brilliant rod with regard to their action...
The point I was leaning towards with regard to 'pure fishing' was merely the point that they own companies that have seen/had better days, brands with past although prestigious histories. Has anyone seen a 'must have' product in their ranges be it from Abu, Mitchell Shakespeare or Penn that cant...
I grew up with Shakespeare gear! I loved the brand but I doubt that any rod from their range in the last 5 years will be coveted like those from their past. Would you take a current mach rod over that from the President series?
Pure fishing hold brands with Abu. JRC, Shakespeare and Mitchell...
I feel that those brand names under the 'pure fishing' banner bear little resemblance to the companies they once were....I doubt that you could give a Shakespeare rod away today from their current range, the quality being that poor from that of 20 years ago.
I also think that Hardy and Greys...
I wonder if the sales includes matrix...as this brand to me appears to be marketed as a separate entity than that as the fox machine.
Anyone seen the news that Grant Albut (matrix angler) has purchased Shatterford lakes?
for my braid rigs I use a gardner rig bin in both mini and standard sizes. To increase the capacity of these bins I hook the hook length loop over the previous hook bend and wind another rig on. By doing this I can triple the capacity and keep various different rigs stored.
Im was thinking about a new pair of boots and was going to give the muckboot taysport a try....however....the taysport has now been updated / superseded. Would anyone know what this new version is called?
