Cheers guys..... I might just do option 2
Damian, its the principle! If a company is sending you a letter, why would they spell your name wrong! Gives a terrible first impression esp when they have to copy your name from somewhere.
If your dealing with a new company and they send a letter...
I normally buy my fishing licence a couple of weeks before the season starts. Its just arrived in the post and that gives me a big smile as I know i'm gonna be on the bank soon above board etc etc...
Just went to go sign my card and they spelt my name wrong.. They left out the San...
They have turned up at a local pond near me.... Never heard of this before
He had a 'barcode machine' to scan the licence
I was told this and not seen it myself
Got a feeling from reading all the posts on this thread that
1) We are all competent anglers
2) No stupid answers have been given
3) Logic has been used in all cases
Most important of all
I think that if the people who use 2 rods get alot of action on both rods at the same time will...
After reading many this thread I have looked back on how I fish.
2 rods where baitrunners are being used (I only use alarms if I am tired and may drop off to sleep) I am never far from my rods as I like watching the tips before the reel screams
1 rod if I am quiver tip/touch ledger fishing...
Small river = 1 rod.... Big river = 2 rods. as for both in the same direction or not depends if I am out for numbers of fish or a certain fish..... Simples
Is there a little book that can help with fish identification that could include possible hybrids + different carp etc.. more of a reference book than a 'how to fish for' type book! even a kids book would be great.
Thanks in advance
Ray
I use barbless most of the for most of my fishing.. If i am dragging in weed with the fish and am alone, I would rather use barbed incase i cannot keep a tight line on the fish.
I have the chub lo, my freind has the jrc x ..... both good chairs, as stable as eachother. If you really wanted to nit pick, the jrc is a touch lighter and the chub is wider.... I personally find the jrc a little bit of a fiddle but that really is nit picking
I use the ruck bag with the chub lo lite... Its a pain to get on the back with a bigish coat. Once its on its pretty good and I dont feel the need for a waist strap.
I know this may or may not depend on the river but
Just how big is big? What sort of weight do people expect to catch nowadays.... Is a specimen barbel still 8lb+
