Went on a overnighter this season and forgot my 8 year old lads bedchair.Couldnt help but feel sorry for the poor lad crumpled up on the lumpy hard floor whilst I was lay there on my new 'wide boy ultimate comfort' bedchair .
Had 2 fox reels and both had to go back with faulty bait runners. One good thing about Fox is their consistently, the bait runner fell off and then the doors on the bait droppers fall off.
I use these but with a float stop the other side to stop movement either way. Caught 4 barbel sunday without having to change or replace the pellet once.
But do you really think you should have to tie the door on a piece of equipment you've spent eight quid on because Fox can't be arsed to change their terrible design?
Why the hell do Fox still churn out these useless bait droppers?I know the obvious answer is "because mugs like you buy them" but its just getting silly now.
The first one i bought the door dropped off on the second cast so that was it for a few years then just recently i bought another one...
I will give it a rave review:)
Had it now for around 10 years and its a cracking bit of kit, the most solid and sturdy of all the landing nets Ive tried. Fits over your shoulder and the straps adjustable with a quick release clip.
One of the best features has got to be the built in scales...
Must admit, sounds about right to me. At one point I complained to Anglers Mail because i was sick to the back teeth in seeing the same old Adams Mill Barbel filling the first 8 pages week in week out.
Wouldn'T go for that frame looks like they might let to much light in,
I would go for the offshore, more of a wrap around frame, I got mine a bargain off eBay for £35 but i was very...
Fill ya boots chaps. With all this rain and the muggy air the worms are out on top. Caught around 100/150 last night in about 1hr and saved myself £20 which i was about to spend for 140 lobs:)
Dont forget your pain killers the next morning for your bad back:o
Ive got the Hardy Marksman specimen float.Fantastic rod, super light, handles big barbel a treat. The only bad thing is it makes all my other rods look very mediocre.
