I don’t think I have used a barbed hook in over 30 years. Never had an issue with them myself ( Drennan’s , mostly ). G.T.

A uni on eyed hooks , knotless knot on baits not attached directly on the hook and hook tying ’machine’ for small spade hooks G.T.
