I didn't want to ask as I know a rod is very personal to everyone.
For me this is the best rod I've ever owned, the power at the bottom has to be felt to be believed... I am rolling 13lb plus barbel over like they are nothing. Don't read anything into the 1.5lb TC of the rod, they are unbelievable.
They are simply harvesting your data and correlating it with everything else you do on the internet. They know you will never spend a fortune on it, the business model is around data and only data. Data is oil.
