I use a combination of a greys pb 1lb test curve twin tip, which comes with a quivertip section ( I've managed barbs over 11lb on it) and a harrison 4 piece 1.5tc avon with a modified tip section that has a 3oz quivertip. Either are great options

I rarely use mono these days, but if I were to - I'd opt for maxima. Used to love it.
