I have a pair that I have used for years for chubbing. Both anti reverse springs went within a fortnight. I was gutted to learn that Diawa no longer have any spares for these reels.
I you get fitted up you are welcome to this pair for spares, and the spare spools for the cost of postage.

It is Steve, but not on an individual basis. The visits are only at certain times of the year and have to be booked in advance by interested parties. There must have been 15 or so in our club visit. As I said it's well worth a visit.

I had a look around the environment agency Calverton hatchery yesterday. I was absolutely enthralled. What a superb job the lads there do, they just oose enthusiasm for their jobs.Everything is funded by rod licence money, and from what I could see not a penny is wasted.

I use Braid leaders when feeder fishing at range for Bream. I always tighten the clutch down before casting to prevent line being given during the cast, with the possibility of a cut finger. I always use a finger stall too.

Yes mate I have had a look. I have a pair of these rods already. They are no longer made, mores the pity. I think they were early TFG reputedly made with Free Spirit blanks.
