I tend to mainly float fish for Tench but one of the pits I fish the larger fish tend to come from about 50 yds to some bars (mainly to carpers) so I want to try the boilie and feeder approach this season. I’ve had some success in the past using tutti fruiti or CCMoore live system but was just...
I actually thought he comes across completely opposite to this, on the Fishflix vids at least….just basic no nonsense watercraft and bait placement with basic rigs. The video about quivertipping on rivers an example of this, favouring old tackle from the 90s to modern gear. I generally can’t...
I think there is something in our ability to ‘feel’ a sixth sense/intuition/gut feeling whatever you want to call it. As a species Homo sapiens have survived over 300,000 yrs by basically being good at 3 things: finding food, keeping out of danger and reproducing. I think ancient humans did rely...

One 13ft compact extension float rod £70
Would be willing to do a good deal on all 3
All mint condition, collection only from mk14 but can possibly meet north London, Mill Hill or King’s Cross….I am also fishing on the Severn at...

Drennan used to do something similar…a stem with interchangeable screw on weights. I think a simple nylon link with shot and/or putty is simple…or for bigger leads a quick change clip
I know what you mean about the drennan, and the fact it was unstable on the bank once you unclipped the unhooking mat. The Korum roversack sits on the bank lovely, it’s not going anywhere and everything is easily accessible from the top flap. A real winner IMO….there’s a few things Korum have...
3rd time out with this set up now, for short sessions when I just nip over the fields for 2-3 hrs. Korum roversack which I’m loving, takes a small tackle box/bait/flask/scales etc and unhooking mat strapped to the top plus net and bank stick strapped to the side. Plus Drennan rod sleeve with...
