If anyone is expecting new rod holdalls or sleeves from santa in the next few weeks... Id be interested in purchasing any of the original drennan 12' super specialist sleeves.
Thanks
A question really for the the rod builders...
I was wondering if anyone out there has had the chance to look at the gizmo that fox use to secure the telescopic section on there range of 8-10' explorer rods. Is it as simple as that of old... One tube taper over another. A bush type of affair or...
I've just been on the fox website and was somewhat surprised to see that their items now have 'but it now' prices. I only had a quick brouse and selected a item to purchase and by all accounts it went into my basket then to checkout like any other online retailer. I didn't however complete a...
I have a couple of old North Western rods that I'm thinking about refurbishing.
One of the more simple of jobs I'm tackling is the removal of some of the old worn graphics.
In the past I've used white spirit and elbow grease to remove small sections of paint from quiver tips and I'm guessing...
I had a surprise the other day when I 'watched' an original green drennan super specialist material bucket style carryall auction end at £30!
If I recall they only cost some £10 10-15 years ago.
Even the new, modern drennan specialist buckets cost under £15!
I've been using the fox winter suit for a couple of seasons now and can't fault it. Mine is the older model, having the orange fox logo whilst the new model I understand to be in silver. I can't say that there is anything to ground breaking in its design...but having tried out several makes and...
I fully understand those clubs instigating rules to protect themselves against the stupid, possibly criminal. As you say, sadly its a sign of the times.
I would be more Intersted to see what language these clubs use with regard to that of rc devices as I'm pretty sure that the technology has...
Bill, I don't have a view in regard to their use one way or another. Im pretty much of the opiniom that you should be able to do what you want as conditions dictate. I personally wouldn't say use a boat to bait up at 30 yards... But if using a boat forms part of your day's enjoyment. So be it...
I'm assuming then that most are unaware of any specific fishery banning the use of drones for this particular purpose.
As to one of the points raised, what is to be considered as 'sporting'? I'm curious as to know where this line is to be drawn?
Should you ban someone who can cast a bait 200...
We bait boats being a point of contention for some and banned on waters as a method of bait delivery and rig placement.
Has anyone seen any forward thinking fishery owners extending this to drones?
Just as a little experiment with regard to AD...
Heres my brief recap of the stocked items in my local 3 stores
The korda and Nash tackle displays tend to own what I'd class as the specialist section. What should be a dedicated area for ESP and Gardner is mixed and jumbled and clearly a after...
Just to make further comment on the above thread. I don't think that your local corner shop style tackle shop is under any threat from a AD take over. In my opinion they have only shown interest in those I'd class as a super store.
I don't think that those involed within the supply chain will be...
