If you have a bait in the water there,s always a chance, but like joe said an increase in temp ,even half a degree can have an effect, especially this time of the season,,,

Not according to the forecast brendon, monday looks a washout, if anything levels will be about the same if not higher, on the plus side the rivers will get a propper clean out , and the temps will be going the right way,,,,

I have a few pegs to go at even with 2m on, more interested in temps than height of the river, this last rain was cold and has probably knocked 3 or 4 degrees c off so they will need a few days to get used to it,,,

Sold my free spirit2 1/4 lbs and bought a pair of korum2 lbs, and they suit my requirements much better, the name on the rod dosn't mean you catch more,,,,

Its called fishing not catching, just three blanks , try ( i think it was winter 2017) on the dove not a bite from 1st week in november till 3rd week in feb, going 3 to 4 times a week,,,,,

It wood have been nice to see them "fish"for the crucians, rather than a wait till one hangs itself on a fixed feeder and the bleep bleep of alarms,
