Mark, considering the gunge and other crap Barbel, and all fish must ingest whilst feeding, i doubt very much if your months old bait in the freezer will do them any harm at all, I often end up with half full bags of unused bait in my freezer, and sometimes stop making bait until I've waded...

Well Aarons latest outing last night produced a recapture of Saturday nights Barbel at 14lb 1oz ... a PB ! 😆 😆 😆 , and a 13lb 6oz just after dark, i think I've well and truly hooked him now, That's the only thing i've hooked so far, I'm still barbelless ! 😆
