Sonik rods may be worth a look. Reasonable quality and cheap as chips but they do the job. No 2.25 in their range but they do a 2.5 or a 2 in their range.

I don’t think I’d go to those lengths, Paul! Monday’s episode showed a stretch of the Avon that has changed a lot over the years but was recognisable to all as Ringwood, thanks to the church dominating thebackground. Not a bad roach either!😊

Just a quick heads up for those of you that might remember this old Jack Hargreave series. It’s being repeated on Talking Pictures TV at 18:30 tomorrow (5 Feb) with the episode including Jack fishing for big roach on the last day of the season. Obviously looks very dated now but worth a watch...
