Fishing the lower Severn on a summer's evening a few years ago it had been dark for an hour or so and a light mist was forming in the river valley.
I heard youthful voices coming from the direction of the car park a couple of fields away and saw bobbing lights from a couple of mobile phones...
Good to see you again yesterday to collect the reels. They're very nice. I'm looking forward to giving them a workout on some French catfish - hopefully!
Thanks!
Ps:please stop selling great gear-I have too much already.
I changed rods at Christmas and endured endless problems with line looping over the Enterprise holder when it was between the tip and first ring on the new rods. I then repositioned it on the tip ring - where you have put yours. Just like magic, I've had no more tangles.
Hi Richard. I don't think that's right as long long ago I built a 12ft normark float rod for my dad that came with two tips as described above. It had sliding plastic reel collars on a Cork handle with a plastic end cap, a hollow carbon tip and a spliced carbon tip. The joints also had stainless...

Bob is days away from retirement and moving to the south West. I very much doubt he'd be able to take on a new piece of work. You could call him to check 01212708366.
Only because in your OP you said 'And for some reasons I would like to have a rod dedicated for gudgeon'. For me, a rod without a reel isn't a rod, it's a pole or whip :)
Could make your own 'Gonk Slayer' by ringing up a short whip and adding a reel seat. Choose a cheap, soft actioned model with a spliced glass tip and look forward to putting an alarming bend in it with a 2ozer
Wish I could find one to fit Ozito cordless tool batteries! I suspect that one for another brand would fit but I can't seem to work out what that might be.
Must be an embedded culture in Daiwa. Whilst in Australia a few years back a mate had an issue with his top end multiplier and sent it to Daiwa for repair. It came back fixed with a note that it looked like it had been previously opened and had been fitted with counterfeit parts that had...
A pair of 2 piece barbel rods as above in used but excellent condition with original rod bags. £70 collected from Lichfield, Staffs or can meet in a 25 mile radius of Lichfield. Occasionally travel to Nottingham/Newark so could meet en route if helpful. Happy to pack in a robust tube if you...
