Looking for 2 new rods either Daiwa powermesh or fox x4 both in 2.75 for the Trent any used either of theses and how good are they will be matching them with 6000 or 8000 reels

Will most probably just be fishing Collingham stretch until I find some other stretches down there not sure if there is any Prince Albert stretches on the Trent will have to have a look
Starting to fish the Trent more often this season but thinking am gunner need some different gear to what I use now I use Daiwa rods 1.75 and 2.25 at the min match with daiwa 4000 reels never fished the Trent was think rods from 2.5 to 2.75 with some sort of bigger reels what set up are uses...
Looking for a new rucksack Nothing to big or small either in between good quality that will last any recommendations appreciated it’s hard to look at things in shops at the min anyone using the nash scope ops

Thanks everyone think am gunner use some sticks in garden and count them out
Could count turns on reels and judge but spools will retrieve different amount on empty spool to full ones
So think the distance sticks is much easier for now
I have two new reels which I will be loading could do it with one of them and would have to guess the Amount of mono for the backing on the second one doing it like that I think would have to work out how many yards I get off one turn of the reels
Am looking for some tips on how to know when am half way threw my spool of braid so I can spilt between both my reels want around 150 yards on each reel spool of braid is 300 yards
