The rod is full length but ashamed to say I cant remember if it is the original bag. Will dig it out and have a look. £400 is a tidy price
I'd sell the rod but the posting might be a challenge - although I do have an idea on packaging which would be pretty safe I think.
Have just googled...
I agree with your sentiments Richard and my comments re locking up of the blank refer to the all cork handled pre-2000 range. I suspect the 2000 and 3000 rods are very different.
The Milo rods I referred to are very similar; I have a 13' Titanic and two 14' Revengers. The Revengers are...
Benwick Sports also now showing the free Spirit rods - not yet in stock though.
Always liked Normark rods and on returning to fishing in 1989 (after a brief hiatus ) I bought a cheap Daiwa Cavalier rod which was fine for a couple of years but soon wanted something better. In 1993 I spent...
That is tempting…
I managed to get two of these ( mentioned above) from a German tackle shop before the Brexit regs kicked in for about £75 each

Not used yet but bought to use on the tidal Thames and around Hamptonwhich is...
Are these of any use to anybody? Free to a good home; having a bit of a clear - out here.
Here's a pic of all four and closer image showing how they clip on to the feet of the chair.
In pretty good condition. If anyone wants them, let me know and I'll get them off in the post.

Hello Pete ~ absolutely not. I just wanted to try a smaller 2500 baitrunner for a specific purpose. However, some people have reported issues with line behind the spool (on maggotdrowners forum too ) on the x-Aero and Richard's comments made me a little cautious. The DL 2500 FA seemed a...
Now you tell me!
I sourced a Daiwa GS 3000 for a friend (dealer wouldn't post to IOW for some reason) and he loves it and has been through some pretty impressive reels in his time. Uses it for all kinds of fishing and it performs admirably. No idea why Daiwa shipped them out at £49.99 or...
Thanks for the all the responses; with these in mind
I've just taken punt on a DL2500 FA which had popped up on eBay a short while ago. Looks in pretty good condition but can't always tell with eBay.
That doesn't sound good - I've an older DL 400 FA and had no such issues with that version - problems arising possibly a result of the redesign on the x -Aero?
I notice too that Shimano have just re-launched the x-Aero as the 4000 FB model.
Hello Terry, sorry been out all day with no way to access site. Can you send me a pm with bank details and i'll do bank transfer tnow/this eve?
