    only fished once first monday of the season .had covid again and circulation problem came back for 12 days after so lost nearly 3 weeks with them. hopefully a trip to lower severn end of september and back on the ribble for after work sessions when they get some water in the Dove will be back...

    Been once as Rodger has quoted in a post the Ribble. most of the reading stations are to low to give a reading. Would go down to the Dove but that it is giving a very low reading.

    I got lost walked all the way down to the rusting tractor swim. Lucky I was with 2 mates who were in different swims on way back came to find me about 2 am. Them cows can be rite little sh@tes as well

    One tip I can give. Its is very easy to get lost on there at night if you walk to bottom fields when the mist rolls in. There is a tractor track runs across the fields follow that not the river will get you back to field below car park. Had most success in 3rd field were it goes to the right big...

    had one of these for a few years.i have ditched the centre pole and fitted storm pole adapters makes it lighter and rock solid in the wind.also have the fox have removed the storm adapters and moved them one spoke up making it more solid in the winds

    my local river the Ribble went up to about 16 ft up overnight at ribchester which is were i fish most of the sessions at this time of year,dropped 5ft in 6 hours and is now back on the rise .tickle trout on the M6 junction 31was in the fields this morning .more rain forecast will shoot up again...
