Yours are exactly like what I'd want, decent length boom section that is substantial, and very tidy cage and lead. You should make them in batches to suit you and release them via the BFW shop :D can't imagine they'd hang around...
Turbojohnboy11 on ebay does nice feeders, I've had a few off him. Very reasonably priced. Latest ones were 6oz tunnel cage feeders.
Richards look the tits though 👌
Are you taking pics with phone or a proper camera? I think I take a decent night shot on my phone using a bank stick, Gardner deluxe camera adapter, selfie adapter onto that and a clip on selfie light clipped to my phone. All small, lightweight and does the job perfectly imo.
Hi Adam,
Sorry for the delayed reply, I missed it! Thrumpton and Pentons were the ones that looked most appealing, ie, most away from the crowds. Have you fished either?
Thanks,
Rob
Can't comment on the specific Okuma reel you are looking at, but have recently bought some 'budget' Okuma reels myself. First off I bought one to go on my carp floater rod. I had a small fixed spool on it previously that coiled the line up horribly due to having a tiny spool, so bought an Okuma...

I did get a ticket with a view to having some night fishing on the Trent available, I guess there's a draw to that when you're travelling 100 miles to fish the river and not having to go home at the...
Morning all,
Any Notts Fed members on this board? I've just paid up for the coming season with a view to having a go at Thrumpton, Viaducts, Clifton. Know bugger all about these places so wondered if any BFW members frequent these places 😅👍
Cheers,
Rob
Don't you like it Neil? I bought the same Aqua roving quiver and some 3/4 sleeves last year and would probably rate it as my purchase of the season after trying 3 or 4 other rod holdalls, I love it! Have a mate who had some spare sleeves which he let me have for a Yorkshireman's favourite price...
Yep, have the jacket and bib n brace, had some hammer over the previous year and kept me warm, dry and clean. I'm somewhere between a medium and large, bought large and spot on.
I had my heated socks on on Monday while fishing, all I can say is it was bloody cold. Toes definitely warm but my heels got chilly at the end. I did fish a good hour into dark and my gear was covered in frost as I packed away. Shame the heating element doesn't cover the entire foot. Might get...
