Don't use fixed spool reels much but occasionally have to.
Was away from Coarse fishing for some time and now classifications seem to have evolved, 4,5 6,000 or bigger or smaller.
Can anybdy explain the the codes please?
I've got 4 and 5000 reels and as far as I can see.they're almost exactly...
Theres a lever on the backplate to adjust it in stages from off to full on. I imagine it's some sort of cam arrangement which applies a drag on the spool.
The pics in this ad show it all quite well...
Used to work with a Coffee fiend in void properties. We had electric. He'd just spoon neat ground coffee into a cup, add boiling water and let it settle.
Several times a day.
I've had a few Royal supremes over the years. Bulletproof for ledgering, with the adjustable drag a massive bonus. Can't think of another
reel with similar.
A bit heavy for trotting and not the best tool for the job but I'd stick with it for ledgering as it's perfect for the job if a pin is...
There will be lots of suitable glues but none of them will work on dirt. If possible give the surfaces a light sand down and vacuum to remove dust before before application.

I'll check with my local dealer that it's not a new logo though.

Someone was looking for one of these a while back.
First I've ever seen and fairly reasonable for them.
I should correct this. The EA didn't bring the river back from the dead, rather the improvements to Chesham sewage works started it off. The EA doing nothing at all for at least 10 yrs and nature did the rest. Hey presto, fantastic wild trout fishery.
Until a riverside property owner upstream...
Think something went wrong with this post, it goes to Jack Hargreaves. No complaints here.
Not surprising it's happened. It's heartbreaking, cock up central there.
A great example of how to bring a river back from the dead and then destroy it in 10yrs or less. EA, you should hang your heads in...
It was a club water with mostly water on the Wear and they gave the Tees beats up. It wasn't expensive. It's now been taken up by a syndicate and I think they do day/week tickets.
Good Trout and Grayling fishing. I was after Salmon.
