Have an old green trefor west rod at home tucked away somewhere think the top two inches were snapped off the tip but a very good rod if my memory serves me right.
I have a 11ft 1.75lb torrix which is a lovely rod but my all time favourite rod has always been my 12ft Drennan power barbel with twin tops 1.75lb & 2.2lb absolute great blank.
I have seen the farmer on the stretch i fish spot fish on the shallows with an high powered spotlight on his truck and they never moved just sat there.
Have two jw rods somewhere and even though they are not the best i caught my first Bristol Avon fish on one as well as numerous doubles and it never let me down once. So even though there are much better rods out there i still have fond memories of this rod when i started my barbel journey.
