    Would you?

He does (I should know!) and has an independant witness, ie me? I'd never met Nick before, so i'm unlikely to be bias am I? If you don't believe that, I'm sure one or two on here can vouch for me that I was on the Lower that day (I actually don't go down very often).

    Welcome back!

Id be more worried about the password and email matching other website log in details. Although I don't think I use the same password for anything else any more.

Is there any risk that passwords have been compromised Andy?

    tiger nuts

A lot of fisheries ban pellets, hemp, boilies, groundbait, meat, bloodworm & joker....Does that mean they're not safe to use as well? Also Sonubaits and Dynamite baits both have entire ranges of baits based around tiger nuts, so they have been "pushed".

    Tackling a new swim

One of the best things on the old forum was the swim analysis part. I really think Andy & Co should bring it back. It was really insightful hearing how different people would take different approaches.

    Swim advice please

Wayne, there are some good pegs on Wellmeadow in Bridgnorth. Fishing close in with ledgered meat baits does the trick. A few are coming off Kinver Freeliners Unicorn stretch at Hampton Loade (Highley side) to the same tactics. If you're about in Bridgnorth, drop me a PM and I'll come and show...

    Penn Slammer Live Liner

Thanks Paul, only just saw your reply. After no initial response I took the plunge and purchased a pair of 460Ls. Very well built reels, and I got them for £75 a piece brand new.

    River carp tips

A tip I read on another forum was that confluences are good features. Helped me snare my first Severn Carp last season.

    Penn Slammer Live Liner

Hi guys. After a size guide for the Penn slammers. I need a reel for beach casting/Pike/Carp fishing to about 100 yards. Would you opt for the 460L,560L or 760L? Thanks

    Centre Pins

Paul posted this advice up a couple years ago, and without doubt it's one of the best pieces of advice I've ever read on BFW. It really does make a huge improvement.

    Stillwater Barbel in the Media

Aren't all freshwater species designed to live in rivers? How else would they become widespread?

    Stillwater Barbel in the Media

Aren't most F1 carp sterile ? I can't imagine many fish spawn in commercials so I see no reason why it's an argument against stocking barbel.

    make & flavour paste

Neil try mixing flavours with plain sonubaits fibre paste. You get a bag of powder to just add water (and flavour) to. Good firm paste as well. Don't use 5050 though which sonubaits also do. It's far too soft for anything but pole fishing.
