I have just watched John Bakers video where he talks about Barbel Search 4. I am not a boilie maker, but John suggests it can be used to flavour paste, meat, etc. Has anyone information of how to do this. I am concerned because he talks about using very small amounts even when making a 6 egg...

I've have had Thermos Ultimates for several years and use both sizes. I had one suddenly fail and could not understand why. I contacted the company explaining it was way out of warranty and they replaced it free of charge. Great flask and great service.

Hatter, I always use running leads and usually with a pva mesh bag. I use a bag clip attached to the lead. The knot on the bag pushes in to this, then the hook is nicked into the other end of the bag. This stops the separation problem and removed all risk of tangles.

Interested in what you are thinking of getting as replacements Richard. I'm sure you will have looked at quite a few.
