I have just watched John Bakers video where he talks about Barbel Search 4. I am not a boilie maker, but John suggests it can be used to flavour paste, meat, etc.
Has anyone information of how to do this.
I am concerned because he talks about using very small amounts even when making a 6 egg...
Still got a couple of jobs to do at home Adrian before the 16th, but allowed to walk the bank in anticipation. I've had a couple of still water visits, but not really interested.
Re our classified section, don't just look at what is for sale. If you know what you are after, just ask if anyone has it. You often get some great kit that way.

I'm up in Yorkshire now, but used to fish the Soar, Dove and the Nene many years ago, B.B. (Before Barbel).
Agree with the above tackle advice for the Trent, but would choose a lighter set up if mainly fishing the Soar. 1.75 test rods for example.

I've have had Thermos Ultimates for several years and use both sizes. I had one suddenly fail and could not understand why. I contacted the company explaining it was way out of warranty and they replaced it free of charge. Great flask and great service.
Hatter, I always use running leads and usually with a pva mesh bag. I use a bag clip attached to the lead. The knot on the bag pushes in to this, then the hook is nicked into the other end of the bag. This stops the separation problem and removed all risk of tangles.
