I have to admit that i have been enticed by the power of Trent carp of late, i have hooked 2 so far this season and lost both the buggers!!

Had a result on the Lead front today, went to the scrap yard and got 10kg of good quality lead and on my return my Mrs mother said she had some in the shed......another fresh 10kg for nowt:D
I have the chub bit and bait bag, you can fit plenty in it.
I also brought the above bag from Aldi today for my cooking stuff and it also would be spot on for you!!
I think you have plenty to choose from so i would guess it's more about your preference.

I don't suppose anyone has the dimensions of the cavity in the moulds so i can get the correct weight of lead when cast??

Might have to have a go myself at making my own as i have all the stuff in the shed and i can machine my own moulds based on Jon's design, i have seen Jon's feeders to and they are spot on, i have been paying 1.40 for 6oz feeders which is cheap but at 44p per unit you don't mind...

I have had the Greys Platinum Quiver for a couple of years now and i must say it's the dogs dangley bitz, copes with every situation you can chuck at it, I paid £70 and got 4 rod sleaves, the hood and the 6 rod expanding quiver....good price but that price for the quiver is...
I recently purchased the Korum Multi Mat.
85cm x 40cm, plenty of padding and can be used as a bag and weigh sling plus you can carry the fish back to the water in it!!

My Mrs walked in tonight and kicked my ass, not happy as i had 2 of her pans on the hob full of hemp for the weekend. Not sure what peeeed her off the most, the pans or the smell:D
A bit on the pricey side but i have the Trakker Pioneer Ultrlite, can use it as a brolly or bivvy, loads of room and no internal framework.:D
For the muddy venues i have the diawa mission but the internal framework does get in the way a bit but i can get all the way under even with my snooper...
I understand what you are trying to do, the tip tectors come with velcro straps attached to the end which bind the rods together and they also come with a rod band so you could fold the line around that......maybe???:rolleyes::rolleyes:
