Julian,
when I floater fish I usually use Tesco's value mixers, they seem to last fairly well, failing that the Asda Smart price mixers are also
good and not too costly.
I usually put it in a bucket of warm water with a small amount of washing up liquid (helps the line sink),spooling it on making
sure the line comes off the spool anti clockwise.
I agree with you Jeremy,I have one of those tripods from the same shop, excellent value,I also have one of their gorilla style pods as well.

An excellent read Ian and I enjoyed seeing the non complex "keeping it simple" approach with regard to your rigs, the upstreaming and allowing the line to pin itself down was very enlightening indeed,I think I speak for everyone, when I say,you need to write more articles.:)
A bump for this item, picture now added and asking price reduced.
The camera is still available and is complete with remote control,AV leads, manual and box, this needs a new home guys.
£140 collected or £150 delivered
I don't see a problem with that Sam,presuming the fryer your going to use has thermostat control,I recall on some other forums quite a few lads using deep fat fryers, for hemp and boilies.Failing that a tea urn or burco would also do a nice amount of particles with very little hassle.
They are indeed amazingly bright and you should be able to even use them to make contact with little green men :D
That said do any of you know what the battery life is like on the Cree? As I am currently still using my Lenser with my Cree as a spare/backup only.
Received my two today,
They really are super bright and the pull/push zoom magnification seems great, although I'm not so sure what I will be using the strobe light/flashing mode for :D
