Honestly, it's not the best. Gristle throughout, snout & arsesHonestly cannot believe you guys can sit there using this as bait without scoffing it yourselfā¦.think I would be āone for the fish, two for meā
keep hearing people mentioning using 1/2 a tin as one bait!! are you REALLY using baits that big??? I usually use a 1ā square piece on a hair or a 3/4ā punch to cut out a (round) piece about 1ā longā¦ā¦
That was certainly me with the black pepper spam Alan. Iāve not even been tempted by garlic spamHonestly cannot believe you guys can sit there using this as bait without scoffing it yourselfā¦.think I would be āone for the fish, two for meā
Wow! I would never think of using such a lump! Iāll give it a go!View attachment 31891I normally use the 250 gram tins and get 3 pieces out of it. Sometimes I cut it other times Iāll tear it off. With the 200 gram tins of spam Iāll more than often just spit it down the middle and have 2 pieces

Meat fishing a nearside slack
One of my preferred pegs has a nearside slack that has produced in the past on boilies, but i'm fancying putting a big lump (half a tin) of meat down there for a change. How would you recommend fishing it? Freelined and plonked in or set up properly with a lead so there is something for the...barbel.co.uk
I use size 2 drennan continental boilie hook with the barb crushed mateWhat would be the hook choice with a huge chunk like this? Would a size 2 Super Specialist be ok?
