It's amazing how much info on old rods gets lost to time or is re-told differently. I had no idea there was a T24a and the posts I'd read about the LR carp talked about it being 11'6". Side note: Managed to dig up the listings for Glass blanks on the conoflex website circa 2001-2003

If my memory of trawling forum posts is correct the T24 is based on the 150/8 blank (11'6", 1.75lb, fast taper)

I was wondering if anyone knew what rod blank these used and their T.C. In my searching I found that the terry eustace carp rods were built on conoflex blanks, but I couldn't find anything on the small or big tench rods.

I started looking at older century rods. Is hy-bor a possibility? The blank looks similar and it would be a closer match to the era of the other rods I saw in the auction. (Tri-cast diamond weave, Shimano twin power)

Yep, definitely a spigot! The Kevlite is the one on the right/underneath.

Sadly, it's not a kevlite. I thought it was one from the auction house photo's, but the shiny bits in the blank aren't a different coloured part of the weave, but it's where the light seems to catch in the corner of the weave. I think it's a spigot. I'm on my lunch now, so I'll double check and...
