Photos of Tri-cast diamond kevlar tip

Does anyone here own the carp/barbel version that could please post a photo of it's tip section for me please? I've noticed the tip section of my diamond weave is slightly different to the butt section, and I can't find any photos on google, ebay, or FB Marketplace of how it should look. (I...

    Terry Eustace big tench blank

It's amazing how much info on old rods gets lost to time or is re-told differently. I had no idea there was a T24a and the posts I'd read about the LR carp talked about it being 11'6". Side note: Managed to dig up the listings for Glass blanks on the conoflex website circa 2001-2003

    Terry Eustace big tench blank

If my memory of trawling forum posts is correct the T24 is based on the 150/8 blank (11'6", 1.75lb, fast taper)

    Terry Eustace big tench blank

I'm tempted, but it's the conoflex 150/7 I'm looking for at the moment. (I got to see a few classics my Dad has and really liked the feel of the 150/7 and his carbon kevlars) I've heard Terry used a lot of conoflex blanks, does anyone know if he built any rods on the 150/7 (11ft, 2.5lb, soft...

    Terry Eustace big tench blank

I was wondering if anyone knew what rod blank these used and their T.C. In my searching I found that the terry eustace carp rods were built on conoflex blanks, but I couldn't find anything on the small or big tench rods.

North western barbel specialist vs lake specialist

I recently came into a pair of kevlites that look identical but have different model names, so I was wondering if anyone here might know the difference between the barbel specialist and lake specialist rods produced be North western? Both are: -12ft -1.5lb t.c. -Screw reel seat -Have screwtips...

    Who made this blank?

It might also be worth checking the reel seat. All my NW's with the screw reel seats have a little NW logo

    Unknown blank

I started looking at older century rods. Is hy-bor a possibility? The blank looks similar and it would be a closer match to the era of the other rods I saw in the auction. (Tri-cast diamond weave, Shimano twin power)

I think these might be a match? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256575476082?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=Zw-QjcHiTk2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=wTCA1ImhSNm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Interesting people said century, as the closest looking blank I saw was a century one when I went looking

Yep, definitely a spigot! The Kevlite is the one on the right/underneath.

    Unknown blank

Sadly, it's not a kevlite. I thought it was one from the auction house photo's, but the shiny bits in the blank aren't a different coloured part of the weave, but it's where the light seems to catch in the corner of the weave. I think it's a spigot. I'm on my lunch now, so I'll double check and...

    Unknown blank

It's 13ft I haven't noticed any markings. I'd say it's a faster/more tip focused action. (It doesn't have eyes whipped apart from one half whipped onto the butt section, so it's hard to tell. However, the butt section is noticeably stiffer than the tri-weave and my other rods, and it didn't...

    Unknown blank

Morning all, I've got a blank that came with an old tri-cast diamond weave I won at auction. I'm considering selling it, (either that or try building it), but I have no idea what it is. Does anyone recognise the blank pattern? Bright light: Normal lighting: Will include further details...
