So had my trip,
Day 1 Gunthorpe Weir
Fished the first peg on the beach. Handful of small chub and lost a good fish to the rocks.
Day 2 A1 pits
Absolutely rammed full, squeezed on a peg with a bit of room. Small Chub 2nd cast, then a 7.6lb barbel around 6 pm. Had 2 more small fish and chub...

I've moved to Darlington, and I'm currently a member of Leeds and District club, I've had a decent amount of success out the Ouse. Maybe 8-10 fish in my first year, to 6.11lb.
I'm not sure which stretch to target on the Trent. I understand a double is a fish of a lifetime...
Hi all,
Moved south last year from Glasgow. Started Barbel hunting in July. Still learning a lot.
Heading to the Trent next week for 3 days, to try and catch my first double.
Unsure of stretches yet but I'll give it my best go.
