Excellent hooks that I have been using for years. This season I've tried the Bank tackle wide gape in a size 8 and they are just as good as the Gardner hooks but cheaper.

The Gardner target specimen is an excellent wide gape hook in smaller sizes for small boilies and pellets.

Plenty of these Korum kits available in my local tackle shop,I bought 4 this morning.

Even though Drennan supply the SS Barbel hooks which are targeted at our favourite species there is in my opinion a better Drennan hook for barbel.Have a look at the Drennan specimen plus,an unusual bend,very strong,sharp and with a long curved point rarely gets turned over on rocky bottoms.
