Think you would need to go downstream a bit towards Bridgnorth for the nearest BAA stretches. Have a look on their website, but there Is Arley, the Golf Course, Knowle Sands and the new stretch just outside Bridgnorth to try.

Worth a look as you are effectively buying 2 rods, a 1.75lb tip for general fishing normal conditions on medium to bigger rivers, plus a 2.25lb tip which is capable of fishing with big leads (unless you have to cast a long way). We use ours on the Ribble and I have fished 6oz leads in flood...

Yes, thats what I have. I thought they were still a little bigger ........a size 12 would be nice, but the 10's I find fine for larger baits like boilies.

Looks good. I saw something similar in Angling Direct recently - can't remember which brand, as the £95 price tag soon put me off looking closely! This one seems more reasonably priced. Might be useful when wading.

Bank tackle hooks are generally large. I just wish they did some in size 12 as I think their hooks are about one size bigger than most of their competitor brands. I use them in size 10, but it's bigger than some size 8's i have from other manufacturers.
