    It’s 2024 and need a new rod and reel 1.75tc rod possibly three piece. The last 18 months I suffered a couple of stroke’s and it’s taken me a while to get fit and walk again (with a stick). Let my tackle go when became ill.

    so reading all the reply's I should go for 1.75 tc and narrowed it down to ether a Korum or a Fox Royal as a of the shelf rod but which one to get me on the river on the 16th. many have mentioned a DL custom made rode any body got a like for these rods

    Interesting link and go me thinking on what Dave Harrell advised me last year on what he uses a Heavy Feeder rod. What are members thoughts on this and any recommendations on rods.

    River Swale in North Yorkshire which is a free stone rive which can rise several feet in less than 5 mins
