Looks great Richard, well done. Not that I'm wishing it away, but with a 1 year old and 3 year old, I get very little time to tinker with setups etc. Just grab the gear and go as and when I can for the time being.
Been to that one, unbelievable. And then saw all the tarpon swimming around at the back of the shop where you could feed them if you wanted to. Amazing place with amazing fishing everywhere.
Ridgeline smocks are worth looking at, not the cheapest but really good.
They also are quite long so you can sit down on the ground without soaking your arse.
I'd go with a 10ft spinning rod myself Richard, loads of options and I reckon one with a recommended casting weight of up to 30-50 grams should be ideal. Shouldn't ruin the fight on small fish but power lower down the blank if needed.
