Finally got around to printing a few Stour pics ,.. liked this one so put it above the fireplace ,.. she who must be obeyed even liked it which saved some strife.😀

Took delivery of a pair of Vass 740e thigh waders last week so early days for a recommendation but they look well made with thick uppers and a chunky grip sole. Time will tell.
As Tim M. mentioned,… aquarium tube interlocked to approx 1 1/2” dia with some split shot rammed inside to register drop backs slid over piano wire needle. Worked well for years back in the day.

Yes it’s a pity about not being able to post videos. I meant to add some text to that kingfisher pic saying it was a screenshot from your great little video.
Non of us are getting any younger G. but I hope we can all meet up again whether it be Dorset or Ross. The ‘mates’ pics will always be my favourites even if it means me spending more time peering through a viewfinder than watching tip or float!
To difficult to pick one specific favourite occasion whilst fishing,.. there’s been so many that I’ll always remember.
Wildlife being the most common but also angling mates, special sunsets and misty dawns linger in the memory.
It’s why I started to record some of those moments in time a few...
Agreed Trevor,… I thought the name ‘super lite’ was stretching it a bit! Super lite compared with a blacksmith’s anvil perhaps?
I’ve used the River brolly for a while,.. it just about fits into my old Korum 2 rod quiver which is a plus as I really hate the 5 rod version which just gathers dust...
