I've had an Okuma Aventa VT1002 for years and never had any problems with it, love using it and costs a lot less than other centrepins. Remember to not put too much line on them

Hi Chris, yes I've used pretty much everything in my mix, peanuts, maples being the best but that may be because I used them more. I use a mix of loads of different particles together and if the fish get on them they're deadly, that applies to barbel, carp, tench, bream and even roach...

It's meant to be for 'roving' anglers, it's really light in weight

Try a fixed lead but slightly squeeze the hooklink swivel so it pops out the lead clip on the take, best of both worlds
