I probably will Ian, but finding one is the problem.. TT advertising one on eBay for £1600, too steep

I'm still dithering on whether to treat myself to a Chris Lythe centrepin, that's if I can find the right one ! Im on his cancellation list too but not holding my breath.

    Flood water fishing

id still favour pellet with this approach and I think 15-20 mins per swim is ample, assuming you have plenty of swims to explore.

    KW new record

I went to KW 3 weeks ago for look around, met Barbara who owns the place, nice lady made me very welcome. I hadn't been there for 45 years and I was so disappointed, 9 swims on one small wierpool, most with concrete banks, definitely not for me ! The members bit downstream might be more...

    Roving waders

Have a look at the Ollyskins website, lots of options. Ive got their neoprene thigh waders and impressed so far but only in their first season so time will tell as always.

    Decent roving umbrella recommendations please?

i think you can get away with a golf umbrella or similar when roving, you can just hold it while the rod is in the rest, if you're moving swims regularly you're going to be in and out the rain anyway.

    Nut based boilies

If I may say gents, they are all good quality baits and I doubt very much if one outfishes the other, I honestly don't believe barbel or carp are that fussy, location and presentation are more important imo.
