Chasing chub....

After nothing but chublets this season, a change of venue and a few blanks on this out of form river resulted in this p.b. at 6,08

If carlsberg do fishing days …. My goodness the stars aligned for me today.
29 chub every one a lump including 2 good 6’s and a float caught pb of 7lb 1oz

Isn’t it weird ……. Did exactly the same thing the other week when the river had 3-4 inches on and i couldn’t buy a bite yet today you would think i grossly over shot the float. Bizarre.

Anyway …… check out this monster of the day.
That’s a 4.5 inch conquest to give an idea of scale.
