Thanks for that Andy, I Riverfly test and none of us were aware there was a project to investigate the Parasite. The EA should be a bit more active in getting the message out to testers across the country. Managed to share with our Riverfly organisers and the river chess testers (who get these parasites often ) none of which knew. I think its the parasite that hit the Hampshire Avon many years ago that hit the Chub and Barbel very hard.
