Hi All, just thought I'd see if anyone has any Paul Witcher reels gathering dust, I'm trying to locate a Bisterne MK2 ( I know!!) but thought I'd ask?? Thanks, please let me know if anyone fancies selling?

I did know about the mk11 Edward was selling thought it had been sold. A little overpriced?

Not sure if you ever view Neil freeman's "Angling Auctions" he often has one or two Paul Witcher reels come up for sale.
In fact I sold a Witcher "Avon Elite" via the auction a short time ago and if I remember correctly the hammer price was about £1300 though the reel did have some provenace which may or may not have added value.
Neil's next auction will be in early April next year so if you are not already aware it may be worth a view.
I think the catalogue may come out in February early March time.

I had an avon elite mkII myself, to be honest I am not a fan of Witcher reels and so I sold mine. It sold privately for 1600, more than double what I paid for it.

Thanks all for your Replies, I was also aware of the reel Edward was selling but regrettably it sold pretty Quick, I already have a few Witchers but missing a MK Bisterne, hopefully one will turn up!
