when to fish

I really rate early morning but find it takes it out of me much more than fishing late does, so don't really bother with it that much. Had a season about 10 years ago when I did a good few early mornings on a pressured stretch and did relatively well.

Early mornings can be excellent, personally it's hard for me to crawl out of bed a stupid 'o clock, but it seems a good ploy occasionally in the summer evenings to be with the missus, and is a good brownie points earning tactic, especially commenting that it's nice to be at home with her instead of fumbling around in the dark

Karl,Nick I couldnt agree more.

Did a early one couple years ago:eek: and was completley cream crackered for rest of the day. Not because I caught anything,, but lovely to be on a river (Wye) that early annnd.....no pesky canoes real bonus.

pm,,,Later it gets better it feels doesnt it.

Funny you should say that, we collected 100kgs of pigeon conditioner today.

I've heard that the results of your close season baiting campaign on the lower is now visible from the International Space Station and is causing bankside erosion due to the course of the river being altered.

He must be the only angler on the Severn to be sponsored by Eddie Stobart.
