when is Bisrene fishery open!

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me the opening dates of Bisterne fishery on the Hampshire Avon!! Thanks.

Hi Paul. I believe Bisterne usually opens for course fishing on 1st August but if you give Ringwood Tackle a call on 01425 475155 I'm sure they'll be able to confirm or deny.

Hi Tim,
I noticed my mistake as soon as i sent the post.
I had a look at the Christcurch web site and it is now open.
Fished it last season (day of the disaster in Japan) but river was high and the water cold
so not good conditions. I still have another 4 weeks off work, post surgery so plenty of time to have a go.

Mind you Paul, I do rather like the way 'Bisrene' rolls off the tongue. I may have to adopt it as a new word....it somehow seems to describe perfectly the way I feel after another days wasted effort on the bank
