Absolutely Paul. Another odd thing is why hybrids seem to fight well. For instance, a roach/bream cross seems to fight like a damned great roach, rather than a smallish bream. There must be a reason for that? Perhaps it is because many hybrids are actually sterile, so that all their energy goes into growing and fighting....rather than the rude stuff :D:D

A couple of my mates caught what they thought were some huge Rudd from a canal in Ireland, you should've seen the devastation on their faces when I told them that they were Bream/Rudd Hybrids (lovely fish all the same !!)
