What reel line?

I think location has more to do with RR captures than line.

I am back to using 20lb fireline with a 20lb shock leader for all of those rocks etc.

I use 10lb Big game clear and ive got 12lb catana on my carp fishing set up. Both lines Fantastic!

Keep it in the dark and away from any heat source Cliff and it should last you a good while....

I've been using Sufix Xcelon 10lb 0.28mm diameter for quite a few seasons now, a 1500m bulk spool is about £15. Its always been up to the job when fishing the Teme or the Severn and has never let me down.
Its available in green or clear .

Yes, only line I have found that could stand up against rocks on upper Swale. Watch that you get true US rated line though, go on diameter rather than breaking strain.
