What reel line should i use?

Hmmmm . . . Big Game is kinda stretchy! I don't think it's the stretch that's the problem more the fact the lines you've tried didn't return to normal after stretching! Big Game certainly will and I find the stretch in it a useful shock absorber when trying to hold fish out of snags.
 
12lb Big Game in clear is my choice. It is well priced, extremely tough and you can see where it enters the water which I like when using two rods. No fancy knots needed either, a simple four turn blood knot has never let me down.
