What fish and will not take

I remember an article by Dave Ivey from the Chub Study Group in Coarse Fisherman a few years ago where he used lots of natural baits such as crickets, locusts, wax worms, etc.

I saw some pickled baby octopus in a supermarket recently but at £3.49 a jar I gave it a miss. They may work quite well for the chub.

I have used prawns and mussels in the past but without much luck.
