What are your targets for the new season?

The first goal is just to catch a barbel, it’s never a guarantee where I fish. I’ll be aiming to catch my first ever barbel from the Don, then once that’s achieved looking to catch a double. And if this isn’t pushing it, I’d like to beat my PB of 10lb 4oz.

But mostly I’ll just be happy to be back on running water again.

Thankfully the start of the season is just round the corner so would be good to see some targets and goals that you’re aiming for this year!

I’ve got a few on the wish list for the season so I’ll get it started -

PB Chub so anything over 6.13

A Thames PRB, a 12lb plus fish would do it for me

And my main target and focus for the season is a Kennet 16lb plus fish, I know they’re still there, somewhere!

Good luck all and tight lines.
Carrying on with my midlands small river hunt, a decent Anker double (13+), carry on with my canal carping (25lb+), and some winter chub and roach fishing.
