I know it’s a bit damp out there still, a bit cold too but I get the distinct feeling that nature thinks spring is coming early.

The birds in my garden this morning were singing like it was spring, especially a couple of blackbirds.

We have Dunnock’s and Robins nest building. The willow is also starting to bud.

Black birds singing last couple of mornings and blue tit pair have been checking out their nesting box. If the forecast for snow tonight is right they might be best off sleeping in the box!
